I compiled a list of episodes for people who want to get into the Super Sentai franchise while skipping through most non-essential "Filler". This list only includes episodes that are significant to the overall story and character development for each series. By significant, in this blog we mean: new weapons, new machines/mecha, powerups, new ranger, return of old characters, essential character development, new villain, death of a villain, etc.
It's the turn for Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. The 28th Super Sentai series which was adapted into Power Rangers SPD.
Dekaranger has 50 episodes and by cutting out all the filler, we're left with 26 episodes

Thank you so much for compiling these lists! I have been looking for something like this for ages. And as almost *ALL* sentai series have been fully subbed (just waiting on Turboranger!), these are going to come in handy. Will you do a list for all series? Absolutely incredible work!

DeleteI've been so late trying to complete Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger (just got done with Episode 33 last night but I've been lagging behind a lot because I'm playing games and watching YouTube vids a lot). Episodes that I listed were similar except I included the 2-parter fillers in my list.
ReplyDeleteChecking on my progress on MyDramaList, wow, I started Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger on January 7, 2019 and I just finished the 33rd episode last night. This is the slowest I have ever been on a Super Sentai season. I do enjoy this season quite a bit but I haven't given any time for me to marathon the rest of it. If only if I didn't have an active RuneScape membership or activating membership bonds on my RuneScape accounts, I would have finished it months ago. lol
Finally finished Dekaranger and most movies. :D

ReplyDeleteI would love to see lists for Jetman and Toquer as both of these did not get an adaptation for Power Rangers but were supposed to.
Also if you can do Kamen Rider or collaborate with someone to do Kamen Rider lists as well that would be awesome!
